unit does what it says it will do plus it has a light on the base that shines up to illuminate what your drilling. Unit also has a bubble level on the back. I signed up for the credit card and got the $30.00 free money as well.

This drill is $10. It drills holes. In no way does it perform like an 18v cordless drill (nor perform like it looks). I used it to drill a 3″ hole in a sheet of 20ga steel and it drained the just charged battery, started to burn my hand and was smoking fairly good. That said- it’s still working and I’ve used it several times since on the same project. I’d give it 3 stars but in comparison to my 14.4v craftsmen that I paid $35 for (got a $10 discount for signing up for a cc) and got 2 batteries, charger and drill, it’s not as good a value at $30 for charger, drill and battery.

This is a recon drill, it actually came with a couple of smudges on it. I bought recons before and they were very clean. I didn’t see scratches or signs of use/abuse just the smudges.

It came with 2 batteries, they are not the EXP batteries, just plain 18v, I didn’t know they made them. I checked the desc and there is no claim they are EXP.

Overall the drill works perfect…I put a few of my own scratches and smudges on it, it’s a tool it gets used. The batteries are OK, the EXP holps a charge much longer, but these work.

It’s a good value, I would recomend it and dealling with tool king was easy and would deal with them again and buy dewalt recons again

I have tried to do without this tool because its not used all the time but when you need it there is no substitute. I waited on the purchase because of the price but when I saw this reconditioned tool kit I would not miss out!! The power is great and then you get two batteries also. Great deal!

Received drill in a timely manner. Charged the two batteries as per instructions. Neither battery would stay caharged long enough to drill 6 holes in 1/16″ mild steel. Returned drill for credit. Have not as of this date received credit.

This is an excellent drill. I’ve owned it for 3 years and used it pretty heavily during that time. The exterior of the drill is pretty beat up at this point, but everything still works the way it should.

A feature I would love to see DeWalt adopt would be to flatten the back side of the drill and battery so that the drill could be set flat on its back and not tip over. This would be really useful when trying to use it in a confines space. I used to have an old Panasonic drill that was made that way, and it was great.

I bought this product after much research and hands-on inspections. This is an excellent value. I am not saying it’s the best there is. Best value. Pay $200 for one that does little more and you can buy 5 of these for what the battery costs on the $200 one. This drill will do 99% of what the average person needs one for. Very quiet and powerful. Do buy the extra battery if you are going to be using extensively in a day. Only $15.99. Made in China but clearly by a quality manufacturer.
